Are you interested in the economic expansion of Maple Ridge? Interested in being part of a dynamic group focused on the development and promotion of business in downtown Maple Ridge? Interested in ensuring the continued growth of the Downtown Maple Ridge Business Improvement Association (DMRBIA)? 

The DMRBIA Board of Directors is seeking business and property owners or their representatives who want to become more actively involved in the DMRBIA.

As a director you will contribute your skills, expertise, and enthusiasm to help ensure the success of the downtown businesses and of our association. Board meetings are held monthly and each Director is asked to contribute to committee work in one, or more, of the areas of Safety & Security, Events & Marketing, or Beautification & Revitalization. 

A Director’s term is 2 years.

Are you available to attend monthly board meetings and commit to approximately 4 - 6 hours per month with event and committee work?

(Our board meetings currently take place monthly on the 4th Wednesday (excludes 1 summer month - July or August and Dec.) in the Alouette Room at the Library. Subject to change - voted on at the first meeting of the new board). 

All nominations shall be submitted in writing or completion of this form14 days prior to the date of the fixed Annual General Meeting (June 1, 2026).  

In addition to any candidates nominated by the nomination committee, the candidates for the election to the Board of Directors, may by nominated by any voting member of the society, provided such nomination is seconded by two voting members of the society.
