Join a Committee - Get Involved in Downtown Maple Ridge

Our committees help shape initiatives, support downtown businesses, and enhance the community. By joining, you can share ideas, collaborate with fellow members, and make a tangible impact. Each committee meets monthly, with a time commitment of approximately 1–3 hours.

Beautification & Revitalization Committee
This committee works to keep downtown clean, vibrant, and visually appealing. Members help coordinate streetscape improvements, seasonal decorations, murals, signage, lighting, and other enhancements, while collaborating with business and property owners, community groups, and the City. The committee also supports programs like the annual Façade Improvement Program. 

Events & Marketing Committee
This committee guides and supports marketing campaigns and events that boost visibility and drive foot traffic downtown. Members provide feedback on promotions, help engage businesses and sponsors, and act as ambassadors to share information with the BIA community.
